Pre Wedding Travel Suggestion
Many have asked for suggestions in booking their pre wedding travel. Here is an itnerary we have put together that we think would make for a wonderful pre-wedding journey.
Travel Into Paris
by Saturday
We suggest flying into ORLY or CDG in Paris.
Our suggestion would be to arrive by Saturday to give yourself at least one full day in Paris.
We will arrive Wednesday evening
Explore Paris
Wed- Fri/Sat
There are endless things to do in Paris. We will put together a 24/48 hours in Paris itinerary that we will share with anyone who will be arriving early.
We will be in Paris Wednesday - Saturday, should you wish to join us on any Paris related activities please let us know!
Head to Dijon
Sat/Sun-Monday
The town of Dijon is approx 2 hours from Paris and looks like its straight from a movie. We highly suggest exploring in Dijon for a day or two if this fits your travel schedule.
Book Grand Hotel La Cloche which is right downtown and walking distance (5-10 mins) easy walk from the train station. This is cheaper than hotels in Paris so also a great option for saving money. We suggest you book early as it will sell out. It is currently $250/night for the weekend of May 18-20th.
There is a train straight to Dijon from Paris. More details on how to book can be found here. If you plan to do this we are happy to help you book as it can be very confusing.
You can also easily (and fairly cheaply) rent a car at the train station in Dijon if you'd like your own vehicle. Please note we will provide transportation to and from the Chateau so a car is not needed.
Explore Beaune French Market
Sunday 5/19
There is a fabulous old world Market in Beaune (the neighboring town to Dijon) on Sundays. This is a must see if you are in the area.
Market is from 8:30am - 12:30/1pm. More information about exploring Beaune can be found here.
Shuttle To Chateau
Monday 2:30pm
Check in for guests to the Chateau is Monday May 20th at 4pm.
We will provide a shuttle from Dijon, pickup at 2:30 from either the Hotel or the train station depending on where guests will be.
If you have your own transportation please plan to arrive at the Chateau at 4pm. There will be no early check in available.
Chateau Drinks & Dinner

We will provide a light dinner and drinks for all guests the evening of check in.
